THRACE. Maroneia. Circa 386/5-348/7 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 23 mm, 11.40 g, 6 h), Choregos, magistrate. Bridled horse springing to left, with trailing rein. Rev. EΠI XOP-HΓ-Ο around linear square containing grape vine with four bunches of grapes; to upper left, fly; all within shallow incuse square. HGC 3.2, 1533. Schönert-Geiss 434 (V15/R21). Lightly toned. Light scratches and with some scuffs on the reverse, otherwise, about extremely fine.
